Anti-scam advice

The golden rule is to trust your instincts. If it seems too good to be true, it probably is!

Here at Freeads Classifieds we work very hard to keep scammers off the site but there will always be some that get past us. To ensure that you don't become the next victim of these unscrupulous scammers please make sure you read the advice below.

»	Arrange to meet the seller in a public place to view the goods in question before handing over any money. We also recommend you take a friend along with you.
»	Do not expose yourself to unnecessary risk by sharing personal information with strangers.
»	If the seller says they're currently away but they're happy to ship the item to you do not continue.
»	If the seller asks you to pay a shipping company or send money abroad don't do it.
