ASH is a lovely, easy, up-to-date, 9mths old, 11hh dark bay Dartmoor colt with a sweet temperament, nice movements & no white markings estimated to make a stunning approx.12.2hh children's show pony. Just waiting for you to pick a show name.
In winter woollies but will soon have short shiny summer show coat.
Although presently unregistered believed to be a true, purebred Dartmoor pony? (i.e. not a DHP hill pony) which is a beautiful, valuable rare breed often sought after for top showing. Both dam & sire (parents) were stunning bays. A blood test might be possible to confirm either way.
Been through standard isolation/ observation period on arrival.
Not shown any signs of illness, lameness, laminitis, sweet itch etc.
Microchipped & Passported.
Had 1st & 2nd Flue & Tetanus vaccinations.
Been through worming course.
Feet trimmed every 6 wks.
Not been coltish, but when ready will need gelded - Our vet usually charges between £250-£500, but well worth it.
Been excellent for vet & jabs.
Good for farrier/have all 4 feet picked.
Good to be caught, tied up, brushed, rugged up, led, wormed etc.
Easy to travel & load - just walks on.
Still young/new to things, but inquisitive, trusting & quick to learn.
A delight to be around & to work with.
Loved but no treats to avoid vice.
Should, in due course, make a lovely children's lead rein or riding show pony or small ride & drive. Alternatively a riding school pony, Pony Club favourite or therapy/party pony.
Re-homing fee is only £600 as seen to good home, small pony business, riding school, therapy centre or kind producer.
Full ownership/passport transferred & signed receipt given.
Once approved & paid for the pony is fully yours.
Open to viewing & vetting.
Not for profit & honest advise given.
Obviously it needs to be a kind well-matched home.
Up front, cheap cost price transport can usually be arranged the same or next day - happy to give a quote.
