Handsome 14.3hh 7year old, Welsh x, chestnut Gelding- A great fun all-rounder.
A lovely natured fun but safe pony, with a superb temperament. Rum is a fantastic all-rounder with 3 active paces and a scopey jump. He is currently schooling over 80cm at home, with the potential to go higher. He is not phased by coloured poles or fillers. Been xc-schooling and show jumping numerous times, showing great confidence by jumping everything that he was asked to on the xc course; including ditches, water, corners, steps. Although he show jumps well, excels more at x-country.
Always behaves like a perfect gentleman when away from home. Doesn't fizz up in open spaces or in large groups.
Schooling beautifully on the flat, very responsive and competing successfully at dressage competitions, always receiving good scores and positive comments. His lateral work is coming along nicely as he is a fast and willing learner.
He behaved well out hunting this season and was not phased by the hounds or the large group, however, could be strong at times.
Good to clip, shoe, load and travel. Regularly hacks alone and in company through a busy village, good with dogs, children and all farm machinery, overall a very easy horse to handle. No vices, never sick or sorry and a good doer that will live in or out.
Has taken part in a number of riding club activities, including camp at Pontispool and has been ridden by riders of all abilities.
Would best suit a home with someone willing continue his education.
Would be a perfect for an adult/teenager looking to have fun.
