This new shepherd hut was constructed as a project between 2012-2017. It has been made from a template taken from a 100+ year old hut found in Dorset.

Made from the finest materials this hut will itself truly last 100+ years. With an undercarriage, framework, windows and doors made from seasoned english white and brown oak. All ironwork (wheels and Supports) have been electroplated to protect against corrosion.

The wheels have also been hand made, engineered and balanced on internal bearings.

The upper hut is constructed from a combination of Pine, Douglas fir and marine ply. The Windows are double glazed and the front door is top and bottom Dutch door split design.

Also being added are a beautiful set of curved pine steps, which will hinge up to the front.

This is truly a one of a kind shepherd hut, that whilst following an authentic hut design and build method, incorporates modern technology and materials.
