This is a very rare automatic Hymer S550. It has been cared for by just4 owners throughout its life, 2 German owners, one of whom owned it for 16 years, one Dutch owner and one English owner.
We imported this Hymer in 2013 and sold it to the previous owner.

What can I say about this fantastic classic Mercedes based Hymer. Well firstly I would happily own it myself. It is just one of those Hymers that you walk in and feel at home. I`m usually a stickler for total originality but a previous owner has added a very quirky retro extending lamp in the rear lounge which I just can`t bring myself to remove as it just looks right and the replacement carpets again have a fabulous retro look and fit just perfectly. All I can say is if you see it you`ll want it, just look at the Mercedes S class wheel trims!!

Hymer ( 1992 ) 4 Berth Left Hand Drive Motorhome. 2.9 Litre Mercedes Diesel engine , automatic gearbox, power assisted steering, ABS brakes and mileage of just 89000 miles with a full comprehensive service history. Length 5.6 metres, width 2.3 metres, height 2.8 metres.

Very goo original silver and white bodywork fitted with Omnistor awning , extendible motorcycle rack, tow bar, 3 bike rack, front an rear steadies, drivers door, electric entry step, very large rear storage locker, side pull out locker, gas locker and 240 v hook up.
Roof mounted Travel Cool 12 volt air conditioning unit is fitted.

The interior is in excellent original condition throughout with beige velour upholstery, light oak cabinets, wood look vinyl flooring and a full set of removable carpets .

Shower room with Thetford cassette toilet, wash basin and mirrored cabinets.

Mid kitchen with 2 burner gas hob, sink with mixer tap, 3 way ( gas/ 240v/12v ) fridge freezer and plenty of storage cupboards and drawer.

Rear U shaped lounge with dining table . This makes up as a great king size double bed.

Above the cockpit is a large self contained double bed.

Truma heating and water heater, a wardrobe and all habitation windows have blackout and insect blinds. A set of silver screens for the cab windows is included.
