Welcome to my listing for a 2009 Honda TRX420FM.

This is a working farm quad bike with selectable 2wd or 4wd. It starts off the battery, runs well. It has a fantastic torquey water cooled Honda engine. All the electrics work; brake light, front lights, horn. The electronic speedometer is fully working.

As expected for a farm quad, there is plenty of surface rust, but there is no rot and it is a straight ATV. The back mudguard, battery cover, the footwells and the sidepanels are all crack free. Currently on 6000km / 630 hours, although this will increase as it is still being used on a regular basis. The frame and engine numbers are in place. It comes complete with its owners manual and two keys.

It hasn't been used to tow machinery and has mostly been used for riding around a hill farm.

The bad points are that *it will not go into fourth gear*. The front brakes do not work and it felt like the calliper pistons are stuck, although budget that the callipers, pistons and pads need replacing. There is a cracked hole in the air box and a cracked front fender (pictured). There is a rip in the seat cover. The tyres are getting bald with some signs of cracking. It would benefit from the battery being changed sometime in the future.

I've tried to describe the quad as honestly as possible. VIEWINGS ARE WELCOME. Although we need some notice as it is stored away.

The ATV can either be used as a cheap run-around (with the faults accepted) or bought for repair or maybe used for spares.
