This amp is a 6.1 unit, as well as the TELEVISION, it is can run 6 other audio/visual divices, DVD player, DVR recorder, SATALITE/CABLE BOX, GAMES- CONSUL, VIDEO, & BD, either by HDMi leads or Phono leads, so it can even be used on older type televisions with SCART LEADS, it can also handle 5 X 200 watt speakers, as well as a soundbar, it also hosts, a bunch of other connection sockets, such as an Indipendant SUBWOOFER port, front and rear USB points, DIGITAL OPTICAL CONNECTION POINT for tv (if your tv is modern and has a DOC on it) I think it has an ipod socket on the rear too. 18mths old, Purchased BRAND NEW from Amazon
