This is a versatile lorry. Currently stalled for two with a small carpeted seating area, you could remove the carpet and carry three horses. There is a room above the cab for storage, and a saddle rack and bridle hooks in the seating area. The horsebox body is coachbuilt and made of wood. It is not plywood but very substantial planks. There is some rubber matting on the floor.
It is an old vehicle and has some bad points. It's slow going up hills. There are some minor repairs to the outside of the body which a person competent with a saw and hammer could do themselves. The ramp is heavy although if necessary a feeble middle aged woman (i.e. me) can raise it alone.
It also has good points. It's easy to drive, small for a 7.5 ton and manoeuvrable. Has just passed its MOT with no advisories and has always been reliable.
