I am considering putting my 11.3hh Welsh B gelding on full-loan, due to not being able to find regular riders for him. I feel he is wasted being stood in the field and he needs to be doing something and have a little person of his own to form a bond with and have fun with.

Ideally, he would stay at his current yard in Lydd (Romney Marsh), where a part-loan option is also available. However, I would consider him moving to a 5* home, with an experienced adult on hand and within around a 30 mile radius of the Romney Marsh. (All potential yards will be vetted!)

He is a little green due to being broken in 2012 and lack of work during the winter, but is safe and has had riders aged between 6-10 of all abilities. He is nicely forward going without being strong or too much for a child, and brilliant on the roads (does not bat an eyelid at the largest vehicles) and excellent in open spaces.

I feel he would best suit a child aged from 7-12ish, ideally who can already ride although it's fine if there's a younger sibling who wants to ride on lead-rein too. And the adult is welcome to get involved with lunging, long-reining, showing or even driving him (which I have been told he is very good at). I would love to see him competing in some low-level, 'fun' shows!
