More than a drawing, more than just words... Freddie was a real dog.
Direct from author/illustrator (Miggy J Noble) a copy of the original drawing and prose as first published. The price includes post/packing and comes with F Smutt/H Smutt photos and copy of pedigree. The poster would make a nice gift, with a difference and comes with The Fay-nights Serial No: Under the illustration the words are: It's no great secret, Freddie is a streetwise critter from the wrong side of the pedigree. The first time I caught sight of Freddie, he was up to his eyes in ditch water. Smelling superb as any spaniel pup should. Besides, he was of the Simon Conygree line, one of the purebred springers. Old Simon's son, Freddie's grandfather was Hales Smutt, a real champion, whatever he did demonstrated attitude. Just like Freddie who saved the life of a young bird, which fell out its nest into Freddie's mouth. Naturally, he dropped the youngster into my hands. Although the fledgling was shaken within one hour it flew unharmed into the sky. Always Freddie endeavoured to be obedient. Definitely, he liked to give this impression. After all he had attitute.
So perhaps Freddie Hales was indeed a pure 'Smutt' and makes a claim to fame.
