Original, Magnificent Beautiful Antique Broadwood Boudoir (Semi-Grand) Piano
A superb antique piano, serial numbered 46824 and dated 1902, for the discerning owner - see photos, with satin rosewood finish, having been traditionally French polished, showing its centre piece elegance standing on lovely turned legs with large casters, in our home, which we have recently sold and downsized - hence unfortunately have to sell.
John Broadwood were top piano manufacturers in Britain in the 19th Century and were highly regarded, supplying members of the royal family, and several prominent composers such as Lizst and Chopin.
Currently stored with Broadwood near Goudhurst in Kent, the boudoir grand (79 inches x 61 inches) requires musically to be restored to bring it back to its original pitch state. Inspection can be arranged, since unfortunately no other close-up pictures have been taken, but for musicians or lovers of beautiful furniture, it will not disappoint!
