Light blue and white 1998 Dandy Dart, purchased directly from Riva Dandy in November 2013.

Let's start with Dandy's are awesome! As far as I am aware they are the only folding camper that can be put away wet (and left wet) - which is especially useful when you do weekend camping and have limited space to put it up at home! You will also find it to be 100% watertight due to it being made from PVC and I have personally experienced it stand up to wind that has damaged other units.

This particular Dart also has recessed wheels which again makes it ideal if you have limited storage space and is a rare find.

It is definitely easier to put up with 2, but I have put this up on my own so it is possible (you just have to concentrate and think ahead a bit). My biggest bit of advice would be to make sure you watch the video which you can find here where Ian from Riva Dandy demonstrates how to put up a Destiny (but it's the same process), and not to forget to use the strings! They may seem unimportant, but they are key to an easy set up! You can also find the full specification for the unit here on the Riva Dandy website

It comes complete with a sun canopy which I believe are very hard and expensive to acquire separately and definitely makes a difference if you are camping for any length of time.

The reason we are selling is simply because we have recently been in a position to upgrade to a caravan. However we have had a wonderful few seasons with the Dandy and you will find it amazing how much attention and positive feedback it receives when on a main site! I've yet to hear anyone say a bad word about a Dandy.

The condition is not perfect, which I believe not to be unexpected in a 19 year old bit of kit. That said, they do wear very well and if cared for still has a good number of years use in it. If you ever felt the need Riva Dandy do offer servicing and reconditioning services.

Also included would be both water and waste containers, spare wheel, a chemical toilet, toilet tent a mains lead complete with RCD protected sockets, and a few others bit and pieces which you can see in the picture. It also has the original table which is made from the bit of wood they cut out to put the window in!
