Oval split 1966 Beetle
only for sale due to lack of use

As you can see from the pictures it has loads of modifications and is far from a standard beetle.
you will have loads of questions to answer if you own this, so not for the shy and retiring type

As stated she is a 1966 Type 1 beetle with a split rear window conversion
The roof has been chopped and all the windows are glass not perspex, the doors are suicide and unlock electronically
It runs a strong twinport 1641cc engine with a single carb although I have a pair of Dellorto 36 DRLA's to go with her if the sale price is right

As you can see the floorpans and heater channel are solid with a minor patch in the battery tray. also inner wheel arches etc are solid
All four wings are widened and are grp so no rust to be had there as is the w deck lid which comes with stand offs if you want to use them

There is some bubbling of paint in places plus scratches and a dent in the roof
As you would except she is road tax exempt and has an insurance valuation of 5K with an insurance premium for me of £110 full comp with Adrian Flux with all the mods listed!
Currently sorn as I broke the headlight switch getting it ready for the mot and have not replaced it as of yet, so that needs doing along with some minor bits and bobs needed to fully recomission it
Needed for an mot would be the above mentioned headlight switch, 2 front tyres are on the limit but have replacements just need to be fitted, and preferably a new speedo. Thats all I can think of that it would need to get it through its next mot
All in all a solid 48 year old bug
