I brew beer from the grain about 3 times a month.
Afterwards I'm left with about 15lbs of spent grain, which still has plenty of goodness in and which I have exchanged for a box of eggs in Yorkshire and Edinburgh. I've just moved to Andover and the grain is currently going to composting, so I'm looking for someone local who keeps chickens The grain is wet and needs eating in about 3 days, so it's best suited to those who have enough birds.
