This lens has an almost cult status in the Sony/Minolta A-Mount fraternity and with good reason as it's paper-cut sharp and produces top quality images that are vibrant and produces buttery smooth round bokeh (out of focus background) and the lens ratings are about as good as you can get according to reviews on Dyxum. The RS suffix means (Re-Styled) and is constructed from lightweight plastic body, has a soft rubber reproduction scale ring, a focus hold button and a focus limiter switch on the lens body, and internally, it has 7 curved aperture blades. You can view the side-by-side differences compared to the original model on the MKropa website.

This specific copy is in very good condition and shows signs of normal wear and tear, though there is a small crack in the lens body which is shown in more detail in one of the posted images with a red circle and arrow and this has no effect with either lens functionality or image quality (IQ). Posted images are of the actual item. The reproduction scale ring is a little stiff in places and the rear aperture lever opens/closes correctly. Internally, the lens has no fungus, haze or any excessive dust or fibres. The front and rear lens elements are scratch free nor are there any chips to the lens coatings. It's in excellent condition overall, and the points highlighted are mentioned for accurate description disclosure.
