What are the Creative Arts Groups allabout?

1. Creative 12 Arts Group (12-16year olds) - starts Tuesday 30th September 2014 at 5.30pm -7pm.2. Creative 17Arts Group (17-24 year olds) - starts Wednesday 1st October2014 at 5.30pm -7pm.3. Creative 25Arts Group (25+) - starts Wednesday 1st October 2014 at 7.30pm -9pm.

We run three, separate Creative Arts groups. 12-16yrs, 17-24yrs and 25+. For children and adults who live, work or study in Dudley, Sandwell or surrounding areas of the West Midlands, or attend schools, colleges or academies there - and want to have a go at experiencing devising, and recording exciting radio plays (to be broadcast live!)and also create their own unique short feature films (for free entry into local film festival) in this 12week group.

PLEASE BOOK EARLY - AS PLACES ARE GOING QUICKLY.

Explore and practise a range of exciting techniques through improvisation, role-play, creating and recording radio plays and news shows, some maskwork, puppetry and fim-making - where you will develop original live productions for audiences to be screened at a film festival and at the same time build your self confidence and creative skills.

Where do the groups take place?

We run these groups in a lovely large refurbished building on the border of Sandwell and Dudley, right by the Toby Carvery and the large Tesco Extra superstore at Burnt Tree Island: 410 South, Burnt Tree, Dudley, DY4 7UP.

What are the fees?

Consultation for up to 15 minutes is free - we will talk with you on the phone or via email or Skype to determine what your needs are, explain more about the work involved and to answer any questions you might have regarding joining the group.

The fee is just £40.00 per person for children and £50.00 per person for adults (18+). All fees to be paid in full prior to start of the 12 week group. Skyelixir & CST do offer a sliding scale in fees for students, those on low income, or over 65 years of age.
