Calling all boys and gals. Hi, my names lee. 31 year old who can play drums/piano/bit of guitar and bass and a few other instruments. Self taught and play by ear. Can't read music. Who needs it? You feel music don't ya? Ive played in a few bands in the past and love producing my own songs. I'm rebuilding my home studio as I moved down here from london back into my parents and starting again. Plan is to get my own place soon. I want to meet like minded people to meet up at a studio for a open jam session on a day that's suits all and if all goes well. Form a band and gig and if we are successful. Well that's a bonus but that's the idea. I used to work for Sony bmg and met a few artists. The view just got signed when I was there and the offspring were in alot. I lived with pete doherty for awhile too but that's a different story.
Anyways I write lyrics, can sing abit and also rap/mc. My friends say I sh*t songs out my arse. Always ideas coming. I'm into all styles and like to fuse stuff together. A few of my favourite bands are
Blink 182, greenday,Silverstein,Linkin park,rammstein, libertines, stone sour, artic monkeys, nine inch nails etc. I could go one for ages with that list.
I love making post hardcore/emo with alot piano synthetic melodies, metal with chuggy palm muting and a banging beat. And a sucker for pop punk.
Music is my outlet And makes me happy. I'm in my element when I'm playing. Lost in that moment.
