Age UK help more than 7m people every year, providing companionship, advice and support for older people who need it most. It's only with your help that we can continue to make a difference.

At Newton Abbot, we don't just offer donated goods, we sell BRAND NEW products including a great range of furniture, gifts, thermals, home-wares, sweets and many more great items all at fantastically low prices.

No Age UK shop is the same and you are bound to find something of interest!

There are many ways you can support your local Age UK Shop, whether it's behind the scenes or on the shop floor.

The volunteer roles include:

Serving customers

Customer service

Hanging and steaming clothes

Window dressing

Sorting books, dvd's and cd's

Selling raffle tickets

Cleaning and tidying

What will I get out of it?

Age UK Shops are fun places - where new friends are made all the time.

You'll learn new skills and build confidence.

You'll get to support a great cause in the heart of your community.

It's a wonderful opportunity to be part of a fantastic team

Travel and Lunch :

We pay up to £4.00 for lunch and the same for travel expenses, if you volunteer over 4 hours. Furthermore, volunteers get 20% discount off when they buy any donated items.

Age Restriction:

Must be at least 16 years old.

This is a volunteer post and therefore is unpaid.
