The Department of Foreign Education Affairs an education institute and government department based in China; we currently have 12 positions available teaching English in Downtown Shenzhen and Guangzhou as well as ongoing positions available throughout China.

As a TEFL teacher your average day will consist of teaching hours and some basic office hours of lesson planning. As part of the contract you will not teach more than 22 hours per week and on average you will complete about 5 office hours per week leaving you plenty of time to explore and experience what China has to offer.

We are seeking candidates with an excellent standard of spoken and written English. The role is based in China and the ideal candidates will be confident, outgoing and willing to learn as the position itself does not require experience or qualifications. We will provide the TEFL training course free of charge.

The successful candidate will receive a yearly package worth £16,000 including, free accommodation (Including all Utility Bills and council tax), assistance in arranging flights, visas etc. Overtime and career progression is also available within the company.
