Job Description
Childcare Assistant 20-40 hours a week MUST have a level 3 in childcare
To join our friendly expanding nursery based in Stratton Swindon, we currently care for children from birth to twelve years of age.
We are seeking a confident individual who will contribute to a caring, friendly stimulating setting in which children can develop to their full potential.


Person Specification:
To be able to work as team and work in partnerships with other agencies.
Be able to cover for sickness and holidays and be flexible with their working hours to meet the business needs this may include School Holidays.
Work with people from a range of Backgrounds and follow confidentiality policies and procedures.
Willingness to interact with the children to create a learning environment
Good Time keeping essential!
Duties include;
Preparing meals, Cleaning toys and equipment, Planning, attending staff meetings/ Training courses, risk assessments, writing observations, planning for next steps, building relationships, interacting with children outdoor/indoors, personal care (Subject to Dbs clearance) and duties set by owner. The setting is committed to safer recruitment and the successful applicant will be required to undergo DBS (previously known as CRB) clearance and suitability checks by Ofsted. This vacancy is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
