Description:
Experienced Self Employed Contract Transport Manager required for an Edinburgh based bus Tour Company to work approximately 20 hours per week.
Key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:
Ensuring vehicles are kept to a high standard
Ensuring all laws and regulations relating to the driving and operation of vehicles are observed
Driver Compliance, including Drivers Rotas in line with EU Drivers Hours Regulations and Working Time Directive
Vehicle Maintenance scheduling for 3 vehicles with robust defect reporting
Relationship management with all parties required
Be able to drive a 17 seater tour bus if required
The applicant must hold a Certificate of Professional Competence in National Passenger Transport and be able to work flexible hours.
A Class D licence with a current DCPC qualification card and Digi Tacho card would be advantageous.
