Key Responsibilities of a Vehicle Technician:
To carry out repairs and services to vehicles to the highest standard.
To communicate well with customers on technical/product matters.
To interpret instructions from the repair order, complying with instructions, settings and tolerances.
To complete road tests and signing off of necessary warranty repairs.
Accurately report/record all the work/tests completed on a vehicle, noting down any further works or faults.
Instruct parts department of necessary parts you need.
What our client is looking for in a Vehicle Technician :
Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
Full valid UK driving license.
Minimum 2 years qualified technician experience.
Excellent attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.
Efficient and productive.
A team-player with a positive attitude.
Reliable and trustworthy.
Can work to given time frames, self-motivated and customer focused.
