Quality Controller
A position has arisen for a growing manufacturing company to work in the Quality Control Department.To measure and record the quality of the products produced by the mill. Carry out audits of the site wide standards against the quality manual policies. Follow up on corrective actions and seek continuous improvement in the standards and effectiveness of the mill.Monitor the critical control points in the mill reporting deviations from critical limits and able to talk with supervisors to affect change to bring the process back under control Monitor the quality of the raw material, intermediate and finished product against specifications. Reporting non conformances. Carrying out audits of the mill systems against the quality manual standards . Following up internal audit action points Maintaining the blue plaster log, metal detecting and recording all deliveries of blue plasters. Ensure that any stomach complaint, skin disorder or notifiable disease is reported.Ensure the factory is kept clean and free from hazards. Our client who is a local School require a Site Manager who takes pride in their work, has sound knowledge of maintenance and can demonstrate a successful track record of undertaking a variety of projects.The duties of the post as outlined will be subject to the appropriate risk assessment, safe systems of work and appropriate equipment being available and the relevant competencies of the post holder.Daily Duties To organise and manage own work Act as keyholder and carrying out security procedures for the buildings and grounds. The routine and non-routine opening of premises and grounds. Responding to calls outside normal working hours as a result of break-ins etc. and/or the setting off of the burglar alarm(s). Providing access, where possible, to the premises and classrooms in the event of snow or minor flooding or similar emergency situations. Ensuring the cleanliness of the School premises and furnishings. Conduct a daily check of the external premises. Operating the heating plant so that the required temperatures are maintained in the premises and an adequate supply of hot water is available. Carrying out frost precaution procedures. Carrying out school based procedures in the event of fire, flood, breaking and entering, accident or major damage. To identify and prioritise maintenance requirements and prepare and organise work programmes. To carry out first line repairs and maintenance:- plumbing work e.g. repairing a leaking pipe, simple installation work, such as plumbing in a new tap, or replacing washer etc.; rolling programme for redecoration; plastering work such as repairing cracked or broken plaster, making good damaged walls, for example, following the removal of, shelving or similar fittings; fencing boundary maintenance repairs, e.g. mending broken fencing panels or stakes, repairing holes in chain link fences etc.; Glazing work, such as re-beading or re-puttying glass panes, internal and external. N.B. Specialist contractors would be used for repairs to large windowpanes or double-glazed units or windows at a high level. Minor maintenance of the external appearance of the school e.g. painting, varnishing. Making arrangements for window cleaning. Ensuring that all areas within the confines of the site are free from litter and that all drains and gullies are free flowing and clean. Testing portable electrical equipment (training available) Put out and clear away the tables and chairs in the dining hall. Put out chairs as necessary for meetings, concerts etc. Act as Health and Safety Officer (training available) Ensure Health and Safety procedures are adhered to and report any serious breaches to the Business Manager/Headteacher. Ensuring the implementation and compliance with appropriate Codes of Practice throughout the School. Nurse Practitioner
Lehman Ambrose are seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner to work as part of a team of Nurse Practitioners within a busy Medical Centre. The medical centre operates 7 days a week throughout the day offering best clinical practice to patients.
Your main duties and responsibilities will be: -
Based on an individual approach, assess any patient with undifferentiated diagnoses.
Make a diagnosis using a range of validated clinical guidelines and act to provide the best health intervention for the patient:
Health advice
Nursing treatment or care.
Suture and plaster, or prepared for training.
Minor illness/injury care
Medicines management/advice/prescribing
Referral to another health professional or service as required.
Set standards for care by implementing protocols and establishing health education activities.
Develop new and innovative tools to assist patients and those supporting their care to do so to their best effect.
Maintain accurate documentation of assessment, planning and treatment of patients.
