Description:
Southampton City Council are seeking experienced Social Workers to undertake Form F Assessments in and around the Southampton city area. We are also looking to find PAR assessors who can do assessments up to a 50 mile radius around the Southampton City area. You will need to have experience of doing either type of assessment.
Our independent assessors receive highly competitive rates of pay.
Working to a high standard you will be expected to deliver assessments of prospective foster carers and/or adopters within time scales, whilst having the flexibility to work around applicants in assessment.
If you're interested in applying to become a Form F or PAR Assessor with Southampton City Council, you'll be required to have the following:
Social Work qualification
Prior experience of professional report writing
Registration with relevant professional bodies
Your own transport and be willing to travel
Southampton City Council are happy for our assessors to carry out assessments alongside their current roles, or to hear from social workers who have retired but wish to continue to undertake work on a more flexible basis.
