Seeking work in Christchurch/Bournemouth.

I've spent the last 10 years working for a writer/editor in finance as his PA/secretary. We used to publish a magazine and I helped with typing, researching, sorting, filing, proofreading, copy-editing and various other tasks. I still do some work for him on an ad hoc basis, but I could still do with some extra hours.

A few years ago I also worked for another aspiring writer to help with self-publishing his first novel. Unfortunately it was temporary and he never actually got around to publishing it for personal reasons. However, I really enjoyed typing up the manuscript, proofreading, brainstorming new ideas and helping the editing process.

Naturally I would love to find something similar, but I'm interested in any work that is suitable for my skills.

In the last two years I got heavily involved with the local live music scene, open mics, showcase events, gigs etc. I am networking with musicians and venues. I am actively involved with the formation of a new band: helping with social media, promotion, song ideas, finding events to go to and already getting them future gigs. I am enjoying it very much and it gives me experience.

However, I would not mind being able to make a little living out of it. Therefore, I am offering my PA services to a musician or a band. I could help you on so many levels and also act as a social media assistant if need be. Looking for extra hours, even ad hoc or cash in hand opportunity.

My rate is open for negotiation.
