Labazordiere Dressage is the exclusive equestrian training centre on the picturesque private 1000acre Wintershall Estate in the heart of the Surrey Hills (AONB) and the home of the Surrey Union Hunt. We offer exclusive packages for both Livery & Training in the art of French Classical Dressage. Weekend stays can also be arranged onsite for those living further afield.

Dressage training is offered by Jean Papin Labazordiere: Jean has benefitted from one of the highest trainings in France, having been taught from a young age by his father, Jacques Papin, Chief Instructor of the Cadre Noir Saumur and also by Nuno Oliveira. Jean is established in training both horse and rider in all basic and high school movements to include all lateral work, change, piaffe, passage and airs above the ground.

Whilst we have a focus on classical dressage, we train horses from all disciplines and from any level of abilities from Novice horse and rider combinations upto PSG and can offer re-schooling for difficult horses, breaking and holiday cover.
