UK Ghost Hunts are excited to announce the addition of The Galleries of Justice, Nottingham to our list of locations for 2016! This building dates as far back as the early 14th century and has a history so gruesome and sinister that even the most hardened minds will cringe exploring it.

Are you brave enough to venture into the dark at The Galleries of Justice Nottingham, one of the most notorious haunted locations in the midlands? Comprising of a sizeable courtroom and gaol, the location offers several areas of investigation. The first records of this site being used as a court goes as far back as 1375, this doesn't mean that it wasn't used for justice before this...simply that the it dates further back than written records!

The reports of paranormal activity throughout the building are extensive! Four ghosts are said to haunt the entrance and hallway; a Victorian gentleman, a lady, a soldier and an unseen entity, responsible for unexplained temperature changes and 'cold spots'. The Courtroom, said to be the most active place in the building is home to strange noises, moans, shadowy figures, the smell of rotting corpses, knocking, footsteps and more!

There are also the many cells, the laundry room and women's prison, where people are said to hear screams and cries, doors slam shut, the footsteps of guards can still be heard along with the jingle of keys and rattling of chains.
