Acorn Tutors is urgently seeking tutors in the Reading, Maidenhead, Bracknell, Windsor and Henley-on-Thames areas.

Tutors are required in all subjects and levels. We are particularly seeking candidates in secondary-age level Mathematics, English and Science and primary-age level.

We are a small, family-run private tuition agency, founded three years ago by a local teacher. We have excellent contacts in schools and families across the area and we are looking to expand our successful and growing business with dedicated and talented tutors.

Role responsibilities:
-Engage and inspire students
-Plan and deliver successful, thorough lessons
-Assess students to cater sessions for their needs
-Set regular tasks for students to complete outside of sessions
-Offer a regular, reliable and punctual service

Person Specifications:

Required:
-Previous teaching or tuition experience
-Understanding of the UK National Curriculum used in schools
-University-level qualification in specialist subject
-Candidates must have a car, DBS Certificate and UK Driving Licence
