Hello.

As a former head of music, I have 25 years' experience and want to help others progress and love performing, composing, listening and theory. I have a friendly, approachable manner and am happy with all ages.

My knowledge of classical & pop styles is wide and we can work for exams or not depending on your aims. I do believe musicians should know the basics of theory and can relate this in an appropriate way.

I teach in my Newport home but will travel. Parents/chauffeurs are welcome to use the lounge and sit in on lessons. I can provide accompaniments for exams including dance.

I am a member of the Association of teachers and lecturers (ATL), one of the three main teaching unions. I am also DBS checked.
