Hollybank is set in the beautiful old village of Botley, Hampshire.

Built in 1883, Hollybank is a lovely Victorian House and our very recent complete refurbishment brings the benefits of modern living. The refurbishment has provided each resident with their own private walk in en-suite shower room.
The communal areas have been extended to provide a spacious open plan lounge dining area overlooking the Garden.
Our residents have the choice of a smaller second lounge should they wish.

The accommodation is tastefully and newly decorated and clients are welcome to add their own accessories to create a homely environment.

Residents are encouraged to live an active life where possible and to pursue personal hobbies and activities. Our priority is for freedom of choice in a safe,homely and comfortable atmosphere. We are able to accept clients of 65 years and over. DE and OP (EMI)


All rooms are fully furnished including fitted wardrobes, however residents may like to bring their own furniture and arrangements to do this can be made.

Most of the bedrooms are singles but there are also three twin rooms for those wishing to share with friends or relatives or perhaps enjoy the company of others.

All rooms are centrally heated and have walk in en-suite wet rooms and nurse call system, we now also have wireless internet access in all rooms.


Bedrooms are situated on the ground and first floor which is easily accessible by either of the two staircases or the passenger lift.

All rooms have private lockable storage

We specialise in good quality home cooking with plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables sourced from the local area.

We have a huge menu with lots of variety and we like to discuss with our residents about 'old favourites' and try to include these along with seasonal dishes ensuring that meals are nutritionally balanced.

Vegetarian or a cold alternative are always available.

Wine is served with lunchtime meals for those who wish to partake.

We are happy to cater for special diets including diabetic, gluten and wheat intolerant.

Meals are generally served in the dining room, but should residents so wish they may be taken in their own room.

Guests can also be catered for by prior arrangement.

A menu is displayed outside the dining room by the entrance.

We are proud of being awarded an 'excellent' the highest rating from Eastleigh Borough Council Environmental Health for our kitchen and food storage areas. Our dining room has views across the beautiful garden.

We have regular entertainment at Hollybank, which includes professional performers and singers, some of whom perform in the West End.
Each week a professional outside company visits for arm chair aerobics, reminiscence and a good old sing along.
You will find we have something for everyone, Gardening club, Baking and making or knitting.

Also we offer day trips out to places such as Lee-on-Solent, Garden Centre's, Coffee Morning at the local Church and shopping at Marks and Spencer to name but a few.

All organised entertainment is included in the fees.

Additional Services:

We have weekly in-house hairdressing by a professional hairdresser.

The professional chiropodist visits once a month or more frequently if required.

Regular visits by local clergy of all faiths can be arranged.

Newspapers and magazines can be delivered to Hollybank via the local Post office.

We can offer a stepping stone approach towards care, we are happy to help with one day or seven days a week day care and can help ease loved ones into going into full time care.

Would you like some company during the day and fresh home cooked food?

Come and join us for the day and have some lunch and a glass of wine with some new friends.

Need some help washing and bathing?

Bathing can be increasingly difficult, at Hollybank we are happy to help using our newly refurbished bathroom with bath and hoist.

Day care clients
We are able to accommodate day care clients from 8am until 6pm, this includes breakfast, lunch and dinner if required. It also includes any entertainment taking place on the day.

Respite care
At Hollybank we do not have a full time respite room, but are happy to accommodate clients if we have suitable vacancy.
