I would like to offer respite or support to young adults between the ages of 16 - 25 with learning disabilities including ASD, visual / oral / hearing impairment, mobility issues, epilepsy etc. This would be based on an hourly rate of £15 to give parents / guardians a well earned rest break.

I can travel to great yarmouth and surrounding areas but please specify this when contacting me.

I currently work in a PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning difficulties) setting and am trained in the following areas:
*Epilepsy
*Manual Handling
*Personal care
*Percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy (PEG)
feeding
*Basic signalong
*Rebound Therapy
*Safeguarding
*Norfolk Steps (verbal and physical de-
escalation)

I would like to offer to give parents / guardians / carers some free time to themselves whilst I support their young person with helping towards developing life skills, going out and about in the community and enjoying their own free time however they wish.

Depending on how many hours support you would like, this would depend on an assessment in a place of your choice in which I can meet you and your child, ask a few questions and find out what your needs will be and if I can fulfill these. I have my own car so I can assist with transport and am very enthusiastic and express a holistic and non - judgemental approach.
