2011 approx 14.3hh fewspot Appaloosa mare by Wearview Mohawk out of Sunspots Nikita

Shawnee is a fun little mare who is safe and sensible to ride. She is responsive to the leg and has a soft snaffle mouth. She has never bucked, reared or bolted and has been ridden occasionally by my 8 year old niece in the school and led on hacks. Shawnee hacks out alone down a busy 60mph road, and doesn't bat an eye at the buses or hgvs that fly past. She schools nicely on the flat in walk and trot, canter is still a little unbalanced but starting to get there. She is ready to get out and about and would do a nice intro test. She has very recently started jumping, she happily pops over 65cm and is careful and willing. Although Shawnee hasn't been shown, her dam has produced multi champion mares in the show ring and I'm sure she would also excel in Appaloosa classes.

She would be ideal for a confident novice wanting to have fun doing a bit of everything, or could step it up with a more experienced rider wanting to start competing locally on something fun.

She is easy to do; never bitten or kicked, 100% in the heaviest of traffic, loads and travels and easy to bath. Stands to be trimmed by the farrier when twitched and gets better each time.
