A great opportunity to purchase a lovely gelding, Rusty. He has a very friendly & inquisitive temperament and loves to spend time with people, he has been good to do in all ways. He takes up the leg well and is a good stocky weight carrying type.

Rusty is a laid back ride who enjoys life in the slower lane. He has done some basic schooling, he is not fazed by coloured poles and is happy to pop a small fence although does need plenty of leg in the arena. Rusty recently attended a local competition where he behaved very well in a busy warm up and popped round a small class for 3rd.

Rusty has hacked alone & in company, he's happy to take the lead or stay behind in a group. He's happy to plod along or equally is up for a gentle canter when asked, he hasn't become excitable or silly in a group and pulls up as soon as he is asked. I have passed cyclists, dog walkers, cars, tractors etc without any issues.

Rusty recently joined our local hunt for one of their guided rides, he was not fazed by being in a large group of horses and did not become strong or silly. He was not worried when being left behind by the faster types.

After assessing Rusty, I think he could be a perfect match would be someone looking for a laid back soul to enjoy life with. He could also potentially suit a trekking centre or RDA environment as he's happy to plod along at a steady pace. I believe he also has the temperament to stand quietly while a hoist etc was being used.

Rusty is based in Newcastle Upon Tyne where he can be viewed at our home with good facilities available.
