Chocolate

13.2h 10yr old chocolate roan mare.
Chocolate has mainly been a driving cob in her life, so knows the driving & hacking job more than she does the schooling but this doesn't mean she's unwilling to please. She will work in 3 paces, although green, very sensible with it. And pops a jump nicely.

Snaffle mouthed, not strong at all, she's on the slower side more than forward but she isn't a total kick along.

Hacks out alone or in company in any traffic. Not spooky or silly at all. Happy to have a canter/gallop out and pulls up easily. Will happily go first, last or in the middle. Doesn't play up on other horses misbehaving.

Good to do on the floor, will live in or out, currently stabled on a night and turned out through the day in a mixed herd. I would say she's in the middle of the pecking order. Respects fencing including electric. No vices seen or known.

Easy to drive, knows the job very well. Will go as slow or fast as asked. Absolutely no bucking/kicking at the cart. Drove 4 wheelers and 2.

Good for vet & farrier. Was previously shod on all 4 (good to do - hot shod), now barefoot due to not doing as much road work to warrant shoes and she's coping no problems bare.

Would suit a competent novice, maybe someone coming out of a riding school ready for their own first although not for a total novice/beginner due to being green and still needing a little help with controling the pace. But this will come with more schooling/miles under saddle.

She is being schooled on a regular basis so her schooling will improve over time.

Very substantially built - rider in the pictures is approx 5'5.

Tack & harness can be discussed (no cart available unfortunately!)

Farrier and wormed to date. Passported with TGCA.
