Mary - 13.1hh 10yo Traditional Piebald Cob Mare in Ammanford

£2,000

Mary is a beautiful pony, a good weight carrier, as wide as she is tall, measuring full up 13.1hh on the stick. Nicely marked and put together.

A sensible mare, not spooky sharp or silly, she has a laid back attitude to life, confidently and happily hacks alone or in company, in front or behind, good with traffic. Good in open spaces, snaffle mouthed with nice breaks. Happily goes through rivers and over foot bridges, she will also pop small jumps. Happily goes in the school but has predominantly been a hacking pony which she enjoys. Listens well to voice commands. No reason she couldn't turn her hoof to a variety of activities or possibly be broken to harness as she has the right temperament. A very intelligent mare that picks things up quickly.

Loves a good groom & bath. Stables well with no vices, can also live out 24/7 she is a good do-er and very low maintenance to keep. Turns out in a mixed herd very well with mares and geldings, gets on with everyone. Good with her feet and to shoe, currently barefoot with excellent strong hooves and rides unshod on all terrain. Loads & travels well.

Solid enough to carry an adult. She would also make a nice mother/daughter share.

She has had 2 lovely foals in the past and was a fabulous uncomplicated mother each time.

No laminitis or sweetitch, open to any vetting, she is in great shape, has lived mainly out all winter and is in casual ridden work. She does not need to be kept in a consistent routine to maintain her level headedness which is nice. A get on and go type of girl, all be it at a steady pace.

Passported and Microchipped. Up to date with her feet and worming. Can be ridden on a viewing.
