Gorgeous 4 yr old 12.1 gypsy cob SOLD in Okehampton

£1,850

Dave is the kindest, child friendly pony you could meet. Doesn't have a nasty bone in his body. Excellent with other equines, and is looking for a home where he will have one or more ponies for company. He loves to groom his companion. However, he will happily stay calmly in his stable, or field whilst the other pony is taken out.Respects electric fencing.
He will stand for hours to be groomed by even the smallest of children, and 100% safe for a child to be in his stable , even whilst he has his feed.
Excellent with farrier, dentist and vet. Has had his wolf teeth removed.
Travels very well in a trailer ( never had him in a box)
Dave has done a lot with us over the last 18 months. He has been long reined around the lanes, along the cycle track and on the open moors. He has never spun round. If something spooks him, he just stops and looks and then carries on. Never seen fast traffic as we live in a rural location but has crossed the busy A30 ( overa bridge) with no problem.
He's been to many local shows ( in hand classes) where he was always placed in the first two and placed reserved champion. Also been to lead
rein show jumping classes ( poles on the ground) with very young children. Attended the local pony club rally, where he behaved immaculately. He leads well from another pony.
He is looking for a new home where he can continue his education. I am selling him as a lead rein pony or second pony for a competent child to bring on. He is not at this stage in his career, a first ridden, as he can be forward going.
Up to date with all his vaccines.
Only forsale as now both my grandchildren have started school, they don't visit very often. He needs a regular rider to love and make the most of him.
A first class and knowledgeable home is of utmost importance.
