Description:

ROSIE - 14hh) - 5YO - Rabicano Bay

Up to date with Vaccinations, saddler, teeth, farrier. Passported and chipped.

I have never met a pony with the temperament like this one, shes an absolute dream and will make someone so happy, if she was 2hh bigger id never let her go! This is the most heartbreaking sale so please no time wasters.

Rosie hacks beautifully alone and in company, not spooky or silly either way. Amazing in traffic, not fussed by lorries, buses, motorbikes, bikes, tractor and trailers etc. goes happily first or last on the roads and in open spaces. Doesn't mind getting left being and doesn't get silly when cantering in groups, open spaces etc. Happy to stand and be left until last XC, and happy leaving the ride and heading off first.

Rosie has recently made her ponyclub debut where she was completely thrown in the deep end and was sent of to pony club camp with a completely new rider to her and had a whole week of first including: Crosscountry, Grid work, Showjumping course, working hunter, fillers and all of the other stuff that comes along with camp and she was an absolute angel. Took everything In her stride, didn't get silly or wound up at any point and tried her heart out for the whole 5 days. Her incredible attitude and behaviour at her first ever outing landed her the trophy of pony club pony of the year. Her instructor for the week is also happy to give her a reference if wanted.

She doesn't buck / rear / nap / bolt. She has been ridden by a novice who had only been riding 3 months however only due to her age (not her behaviour in any way) I would not advertise her as a horse perfect for a novice as she is only 5, despite how much above her age she acts. She still has so much more in her and needs a kind rider to bring this out of her to help her reach her full potential.

On the ground she is an absolute dream and a pleasure to have on the yard. Manners to die for when being handled. Stands to be groomed tacked up, rug changed etc. I have clipped the feathers off her legs and her beard and she stood like a dream, I haven't clipped her full body but given she is good to have her head area and legs done im sure she would be absolutely fine if you did want to clip her. Good with farrier, she is currently fully shod. Good with sheep, dogs, farm machinery. She has had a foal in the past, however this was before I owned her so I have no details regarding this. Since I have had her she has been turned out with another mare and foal and has been lovely to the foal however did not get attached or get silly at all.

She comes when called or the second she sees you, whatever is first, shes always the first to the gate and often greets you with a little neigh. She is currently turned out in a mix heard however she has also been in individual turnout too with no issues. Happy to be left in field / stable/ yard alone but also likes company. Respectful of electric fencing when turned on.

Loads first time in a trailer, I have never tried her in a lorry however im sure she would just follow you straight in.

Rosie is the sweetest most loving pony I have come across and will only got to a 10* forever home, she deserves the absolute best and I will not let her got to any less. She needs someone who is gentle and kind to love and look after her and treat her with the kindness she deserves, although she is a mare she is not mareish but does have a sensitive side and takes a lot of confidence from the people around her and the treatment she receives.

She comes with her tack which has been fitted to her. Open to vetting. X
