The heartbreaking decision has been made to find a new home for my gorgeous pony, Jay Jay. Price includes extensive wardrobe and tack (Pessoa saddle).

13.1hh, Dartmoor Hill pony (thought to be Dartmoor x Highland), silver dun, just turned 16 years old and an absolute one in a million pony. He is looking for a new young jockey in a long term home after being outgrown in his current loan home. He has been there, done it and got a boatload of rosettes to prove it. He is the ideal Pony Club pony and has been a member since 2010 in various clubs around the South West and is well known in the area for being the amazing pony that he is. Has been to many camps and always pleases. He has excelled in show jumping and cross country his whole life, consistently placed. Very honest, can turn on a sixpence and fast against the clock. Often beats the big horses in bigger classes. Recently competed in dressage and can work on an outline (with some good riding!).

SJ and dressage to PC Regional Champs level. Jumps up to 3ft3 for SJ and XC. Competed in ODE and combined training. He is currently very fit and active, getting out up to 3 times a week in summer. and I would hope for this to continue in his next home.

As safe as houses, always cares for his ride - a Mother's dream. Is loved in every home, but unfortunately outgrown. He is a perfect hunting pony and has been hunted by nervous little riders and always looks after whoever is in the saddle. Never bolts, bucks or rears. Never fizzes up, can transport alone and leave at trailer eating hay - he is ALWAYS chilled!

I have owned Jay for 11 years, and my best friend Zoe Spink bought him as a wild pony and broke him in so there is nothing we don't know about him. He is a brilliant teacher, fantastic with children and will take the rider far. He is not push button- needs someone that will actually ride him.

Shod and very hardy. He will come with a very extensive full wardrobe, including Pessoa saddle. No rush, he will only go to a home that can match the standard of his current perfect loan home!

References required and homes will be checked. Looking for a home for life, where I can still visit him when I am home from university.
