17.2hh 5 year old Irish Draught.
Please read full ad. Project horse: not a novice!
I haven't had Bally long, he was unfortunately miss sold as he is much greener than i was lead to believe. He needs more time than I can offer at the moment.
His history as far as I know: He was brought over from Ireland 9 months ago and hasnt done much since then. Before that I was told he had hunted in Ireland.
I was told he was a horse you can pick up and drop which was perfect due to work and my own health, but at his level of education he would definitely benefit from a consistent approach to work.
With some time I believe he could be a great horse, but at the moment he is very timid when being groomed etc, and has been known to kick out. I would say this is because he has been mistreated before I had him, as he was head shy when i got him and you couldn't pick his feet out..
I think that he might have a mild case of shivers which means he needs to be sedated for the farrier (he is unshod and has good feet) but other than this it doesn't affect him.
Sad sale as I do think he will be an amazing horse as he gets fitter and has the time to get used to having a job. He is just wasted with me.
Serious enquired only please as I have been back and forth with this.
