Sonic is a superb compact horse with great confirmation and an excellent attitude, making him ideal for a lady or teenager to enjoy hunting, riding club, pony club, and jumping activities. He is perfect for a teen transitioning from ponies, as he is neither difficult nor strong. A straight mover with no vices or health problems, he is ready to excel in various disciplines.

Having whipped in and been actively hunted this season by a petite 14-year-old, Sonic has shown himself to be excellent and mannerly. He waits patiently, jumps everything he's asked to, and stands quietly at the meet. Whether in front or behind, he is happy to go along. He has hunted with the Morpeth hunt this season.

Sonic hacks exceptionally well, both alone and in company, and is unfazed by farm animals or heavy traffic. He remains sensible in large groups and is a very brave jumper. This winter, he has competed unaffiliated, jumping 1m with a teenager, demonstrating his honesty and carefulness. In the arena, he works well, is balanced, and with further schooling, could easily achieve good dressage scores.
