Stop press !! Chunky 15hh Cob Gelding in Cwmbran

15/15'1 approx
11 year old piebald cob gelding
A real leg in each corner - solid substantial weight carrying type.

Tom has done a little of everything, from hacking to funrides, jumping and basic schooling. A real dude of a cob who will give anything a go!

He thrives on his fun filled diverse lifestyle. Would suit a happy hacking / low level home - likewise someone who wants to get out and do a bit with an easy allrounder sort

Hacks alone and in company, a real steady type, who you can just throw the buckle at, not a complete kick along, but never does any more than he has too. Great in traffic. He's a sweet willing ride he strides out and enjoys the scenery as much as his jockey.

Rides sweetly in open spaces, as well as the school, does not get strong or silly - has attended hound exercise with us, with a petite 13 year old child, who thoroughly enjoyed a good gallop across country, sat behind many of horses.

We will be looking to get him out hunting this season, if given the chance and doesn't sell before hand! No issue at all to stand at the meet - be surrounded with other horses / quads / crowds or most importantly hounds.

Enjoys a ride to the pub, will happily stand patiently without being tied up whilst you enjoy a beverage. Admittedly we have done this on more than one weekend occasion with him

Happy to pop a fence - rustic or coloured - willing to learn but not a ready made show jumper. He have schooled him around a little course at home - he's very much willing to engage his brain and accept the mini challenge shall we say. XC he's done a little more with his previous owners so we are told. Brave again willing.

Great to handle groom Bath etc etc! He certainly loves attention!! Ties up out on the yard and in the stable - as well as the wash bay for a hot horse shower!!

Used to our dogs ambling around amongst him at home aswell as children including my son who does not have the most common sense when being around horses - lol

Farrier said to be fine - only trimmed to date but may require some shoes soon if he continues to be the yard favourite and being used as much as he is. No issues with picking up his feet.

We haven't tried to clip him but as the weather is becoming slightly against us - this may be done in the weeks to come and advert will be updated

Loaded and travelled lorry and trailer with us no issues.

No medical issues or known vices - No itch lami etc
Open to vetting
Sorry no trials but trainers etc etc welcome
