Darcie is a 15hh 7 year old ex trotter mare. She is the most loveliest mare and is a sad sale as she is very special to me. Only selling as she is too much for me in the ridden aspect due to her not being a novice ride at all. She would be a project for someone to put their stamp on as she needs reschooling which we have started but due to time she is wasted with us. She has proven to be a very bold happy hacker, she hacks alone and in company. Never batted an eyelid at anything. She is NOT a novice ride at all and would suit someone with experience when ridden.
On the ground, you can't fault her, she stands perfectly to be washed, brushed, tacked up, caught in the field, farrier, vet, rugged loads and travels safely. She is handled by adults, children and special needs daily and always behaves impeccably. Currently she is turned out all the time in a field with other mates but is quite happy to be caught and come in by herself and chill in the stable.
She does love a loose jump in the arena. Read more
