Beautiful cob x gelding to make 16.2hh rising 3 looking for forever home in Crewe

Looking for new

Heartbreaking and devastating sale of a much loved youngster with massive potential in the right hands.

This is a completely honest advert so please read it all before enquiring as this is hard enough as it is. Also will not budge on price, the reasons for sale is absolutely no fault of his own and completely personal reasons relating to finances and a pony who is costing a fortune in vet bills.

Dexter is an extremely handsome welsh x gelding, turns 3 in may 2024, to make 16.2hh. I've had Dexter for just over a year as i knew he'd mature to the build and height i wanted. He is currently standing at 16hh at his withers and has plenty of growing left to do. Really good bone and honestly just has the typical hunter type look to him. We believe dexter would be an amazing hunter with his big, strong movements, and has been seen to jump fences when I first had him, he certainly has a jump on him.

I have spent most the year building a bond with dexter as he came from a field with little human interaction and was very nervous. He is much better now but as a typical baby he still has his spooky moments and can be quite strong. Honestly with exposure to things everyday he will snap out of it, hes 2 so expected.

He has had a bridle and saddle on, obviously very uncertain about the saddle as any baby would. I was planning on sending dexter away to be backed early 2024 due to his size, i still believe he is ready to start his education now in the right hands in the right manner.

Been lunged and some basic groundwork, has 3 gorgeous big paces, videos can be sent to serious enquiries. He enjoys a good groom especially brushing his tail and bum!

Up to date on vaccinations, worming feet etc. Dexter takes a while to load (again as a baby). Prior to me having him he'd never travelled or loaded. Hes not been on a trailer before but has been on a lorry.

Serious enquiries only please, i am gutted.
