Looking for a part loaner for my mare, April to stay at current yard BD22 8RA
April is around 14hh and 6 years of age
April can be stubborn at times and has a tendency to bolt while mounting if your away from the yard so will need and experienced rider- anyone under 16 must be supervised
April can be difficult to catch at times but is improving everyday.
April does figit while being groomed but is mostly well behaved.
April picks up all 4 feet with no issues at all
April can throw the odd buck when she gets annoyed and will not stand to wait for traffic to clear so circles are definitely needed.
April is good in open spaces when with a companion however she hasn't been in any open space alone so I'm not sure how she'd do
The yard has lots of amazing hacks close by and a sand arena that you can hire for £10 30 mins away.
The yard also has a grass arena on site however it is to be only used in summer when the ground is dry
April will be turned out until the end of November so help such as mucking out and hay nets will be required when she's eventually stabled
April has limited experience in the arena and can be spooky
I have owned april since she was 4 and didn't start backing her properly until this summer
A financial contribution will be asked for
Nobody that has come straight from a riding school or has limited experience will be considered
