Heartbreaking sale due to being over stocked and short of stables. Waffle has been with me for the passed year, and I will be very sad to see him go.
Backed over the spring / summer months and now happily riding away. Hacks alone or in company, in front and behind. However he is green due to his age, and can spook and odd things. Has seen most traffic, including buses and is unfazed by this. Sensible in open spaces and will canter through the woods without getting silly or strong.
Lightly schooled at home and working well in walk and trot. Canter is still unbalalnced which is to be expected at his age. He has not been pushed and works a couple of times a week.
On the ground he can be bolshy, so needs a confident handler. Once he knows who's boss, he respects this! He was sucessfully shown in hand last season winning at both local and agricultural level. He behaved impeccably out showing and travelled beautifully. Happy to be tied up on the back of the box, and was not upset when his travel buddy went off without him.
In the right home this pony will go to the very top. He is the perfect mix of beauty and sass! He will not be sold as a child's pony, or to a novice home. I would love to see him produced as a ridden pony with a view to progressing to workers, as I feel he would really excel in this sphere when he is older.
I have hundreds of pictures, but he is so much better in the flesh, and needs to be seen to appreciate his true beauty.
