Description:

13.2 9 yr old Piebald Welsh Cob cross Mare

Through no fault of her own our 1 in a million pony is for new She is the ideal ponyclub pony who is a fun, fast ride for a confident child who wants fun and excitement in the saddle and impeccable manners on the ground.

Rita's full history is known and she will only go to a loving home where we can keep in touch. She has been brought on slowly and we have had an amazing time and we thought we would have longer, but our daughter has hopelessly outgrown her, and she needs to continue doing what she loves. She would suit a confident, competitive child who loves all PC activities (jumping, hacking, games, hunting) while riding a fun forward going pony (she can be strong when she's excited). She is a fantastic pony club pony, I would say not a first pony for a small child, saying that she is my daughters first pony, and they have taught each other everything.

Manners - My daughter carries out all stable jobs and grooming, tacking/rugging, to & from field without supervision and I know that she is 100% safe. Picks up all feet, she has never kicked out or bitten. Hasn't got a bad bad bone in her body. Loves to be cuddled, groomed & a scratch and will stand while mucking out.
Schooling - she will happily walk, trot and canter. Has regular flatwork lessons and daughter rides with tack on & off.
Jumping - she started jumping around 18 months ago, we have jumped top of the blocks at home (85cm) and show jumped up to 60cm (incl fillers & water) arena hires, show-cross, cross country, hunting and pleasure rides. She has regular showjumping lessons.
Showing - We have done in-hand & ridden classes with her. We have also done fancy dress and she takes it all in her stride.
Hacking - Great with all traffic, she has seen everything & is amazing in the heaviest of traffic & large heavy farm machinery. She will confidently hack front, middle or back. If she's excited, she can get strong as she likes to be near the front. Always stops after a gallop & has never galloped off. She hacks out alone but does prefer to be with other horses. If on a lead rein you can take her anywhere, if alone she needs confidence.
Loading - she is brilliant to load, and travel and will go in a trailer or wagon.
Living - she is currently with mares & out during the day, in at night. She is fully clipped. Has previously lived out 24/7 in a mixed herd.

As our daughter is moving up to horse's she is also available with her wardrobe (not saddle).
Up to date with Teeth, Feet, Worming, Vaccinations & Physio
