SUPER COMPETITION PONY

Starlight is a super smart, 13hh, 9 year old gelding, who would excel in any discipline. Very sad sale due to being outgrown after being in his home for years. Still in contact with original owners and so full history known.

Out hacking, Star is confident alone and in company, on busy roads and in open spaces. He has been regularly hacked out by his young rider, so is unfazed by traffic, bikes, runners etc. He is happy to go for a stretch of canter as well as pop some logs out and about, while remaining rideable and pulling up in a snaffle - would be superb out hunting!

On the flat, Star is a flashy mover, working into a contact in walk, trot and canter. He knows basic lateral movements and continues to show a trainable attitude. He is a real eye catcher whenever he is out and would complete a lovely dressage test or be suitable as a potential showing prospect.

Jumping is where Starlight really shines! He loves to jump, schooling over fillers, planks, cross country jumps etc. He is a very honest pony, jumping off any stride. At home, he will happily school over an 85cm course with scope for much more. He would excel in a showjumping home - a real BS prospect with a careful jump and balanced turns. Star is happy in a competition environment, recently competing at a local show, winning his 65cm class. He waited patiently for all competitors to complete the course and did not react to other horses/ponies.

Good to clip, groom, shoe (fronts), load, travel etc. Is up to date with dentist, massage, veterinary health checks, farrier, vaccinations.
