Billy is an absolutely stunning approx 14.1hh registered new forest bay gelding turning 5 years old this summer.
Billy is without a doubt an absolutely gorgeous lad, he has lovely movement and loves to show off around the field!
To handle billy is a little sweet heart. He comes to call and stands patiently to have his head collar on. He is easy to lead, stands to be brushed, trimmed, tacked up and bathed. I was told that billy can sometimes test his handler if he thinks he can get away with it but with a firm hand he a little gentleman! He has never bit, kicked or done anything nasty. This lovely boy happily turns out with both mares and geldings with no issues.
Billy is a really nice forward ride, he will go out both on his own and in company, in front or behind. Billy enjoys his ridden work and is really easy to teach. He has been around a xc course and absolutely loves it, he is brave and has lovely scope over a fence. I feel that this boy would be a cracking pony for someone to bring on and he would definitely love to get out and do some show jumping and cross Country!
Billy is good with cars, dogs, cows, chickens etc. He can be nervous in heavy traffic so would be suited to a home with plenty of off road hacking, lanes and a school. Billy has got such a positive attitude to his work I'm sure with a confident person that he trusts he will definitely over come this.
Billy has so much potential and will go far in the right hands. He's a nice easy project for someone to bring on and have heaps of fun with!
He moves for fun and is well bred! Billy is up to date with the farrier, dentist and his vaccinations.
I am selling billy on behalf of a client who would love to stay in touch with new owners if possible.
