New Forest gelding in York

New Forest

Barney is looking for a new home as we've got too busy to further his career ourselves. He'd make someone a lovely child's or family pony as he does up the leg well for a smallish boy.
With us he's been backed, ridden away and schooled in walk, trot, canter and over a small course with the odd larger fence thrown in. He's never refused a fence and will be going out to the local sj soon.
We've taken him out to local and further afield rides out where he's been an absolute saint, he loads himself and travels quietly in our very noisy stock trailer. he'll hack out on his own but does prefer some company.
He's unfazed by heavy traffic as we have to cross a busy A road to the local village, doesn't bat an eye at farm machinery, sheep or pigs when we had them.
Up to date with vaccs and dentist and is unshod.
Barney's been out to the local clear round also, loads first time, travels and unloads like a saint and was so so good. A real gem of a pony.
