Top Quality Rising 4 yr old Reg Shetland Gelding in Llanelli

Oscar is a well bred rising four year old 35-36" registered shetland gelding.
He came to me in September 2020 as a head strong, nervous, uncatchable colt. We gelded him straight away and I have worked with him all winter.
He has improved so much in this time. Although to be clear he is still nervous of people he doesn't know but bonds well once he knows you.

He really enjoys work and doing new things.
I lunged him a few times a week, sometimes with a saddle or roller and side reins. He is driven in hand with harness and a open bridle at least once per week, sometimes more. He regularly has a pack saddle on for photos.Loves doing pony agility.

Not backed as no suitable sized rider.
He has never been near children so I cannot guarantee him as a child's pony ATM. However with an experienced family he should be fine with positive experiences and given plenty of time.
Would also suit an adult for pony agilty or hiking. Good enough to show.
He will make a lovely driving pony with further education.

Has only seen light traffic to date.
Oscar has learnt to be very patient as I am always taking photos.

Easy to groom, clip, hooves trim, catch, tie up, lead, lunge etc
Spend the winter stabled for education but will live in or out. Out 24/7 since the end of February. Totally ok being grazed with electric fencing.
Regularly walked or driven in hand around our flock of sheep. Currently lives on his own but was previously living his entire life with his smaller brother. Fine with or without horse company as long as he has other animals around him.
So would suit a farm or smallholding due to this.

Wormed, hooves trimmed and tetanus vaccination done.
Good teeth, hooves and conformation.

Serious enquiries only please. Due to his young age he is not suitable for any novice owners.
Looking for the right home for him to continue learning as this is a quality pony. He is super smart once in his summer coat.
Long term home, no loans or silly offers.
